2. Role Overview
ARC Insulation & Insulators Ltd., an NSE SME-listed manufacturing company, is seeking an experienced HR Manager/Executive to independently manage the HR function, industrial relations, the complete employee lifecycle, and statutory compliance.
Prior experience in a manufacturing company is mandatory. The candidate should have strong knowledge of labour laws, workforce management, HR policies, and compliance documentation.
3. Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end recruitment, manpower planning, onboarding, and employee exits.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain employee records, attendance, leave, and HR documentation.
• Coordinate payroll, salary revisions, incentives, bonuses, and employee benefits as per company policy.
• Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, Labour Codes, PF, ESI, gratuity, bonus, minimum wages, and POSH requirements.
• Handle industrial relations, employee grievances, disciplinary matters, and workforce management.
• Implement KPI-based performance appraisals, training, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Support manpower budgeting, compensation planning, and workforce productivity.
• Prepare HR dashboards and periodic management reports.
• Coordinate with Management, Finance, and the Company Secretary on HR-related compliance and documentation.
4. Candidate Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Human Resource Management preferred.
• Mandatory experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in an engineering or industrial organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory HR compliance, industrial relations, and payroll coordination.
• Experience in recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and HR administration.
• Good communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, HR systems, and payroll software.
• High integrity, confidentiality, and a process-oriented approach.
5. Preferred Candidate Profile
• Candidates based in Kolkata or nearby areas will be preferred.
• Male candidates may be preferred, subject to applicable employment laws.
• Candidates with hands-on experience independently managing the complete HR function in a manufacturing setup will receive preference.
